My Involvement:

* Development of architecture and flow of pages requiring detailed understanding of financial systems and formulas.

* Development of improvements to the information architecture to heighten usability by decreasing ambiguity in the wording of text selections.

* HTML prototyping, wireframe development, and conceptual storyboards for templates to be issued by JAVA and PERL developers.

* Development of pages with reduced graphics. Page above are mostly text with a few images for corners. Colored lines were all done in the originals as HTML. Pages were required to perform quickly through a SSL.

* Development and maintenance of styles for Cascading Style Sheets. Cleanup of old defunct styles and development of new ones named by purpose not appearance. Development of site for their reference.

* Human factors usability integration to ensure ease of use of UI within required business parameters.

* Graphic development of mockups and feature proposals for business.

* Helped in development of data presentation UI involving charts and figures. Reports produced in MS Powerpoint.

* Evaluated and implemented solutions to problems with information architecture for MOL and proposed new architecture and design for new subsidiary site. Solutions were integrated into award winning design.

* Designed, developed, and helped to maintain 2 of 3 internal support web sites to aid in software development cycle.

* Helped debug, fix, and make minor alterations to JAVA/ JSP code to help developers with changing UI designs to fit changing specifications.

* Research and development of new features like the widget, which is designed to expand and contract upon client click.

* Worked closely with senior graphic designer to develop a number of different choices of acceptable, functional, and usable designs for business review.

* Performed extensive quality assurance testing and troubleshooting for functionality, compatibility and increased UI performance on Netscape and Internet Explorer browsers for Macintosh and Windows platforms. Bugs were reported via Perfect Tracker, a web-based bug reporting system.

* HTML refinements to ensure maximum performance output in Netscape.

* Produced, designed, and took lead on UI and functional business specifications.

* Coordinated and worked closely with third party vendors on bug fixing, and issues of technical implementation.

* Product cycle release sign off manager for UI aspect.
